The focus of Mike's current, (and terribly underfunded), wireless project is on turning an off-the-shelf wireless router - the nanostation M5 - into an ipv6 enabled, meshed, 5.8ghz greenfield wireless network suitable for easy deployment in the rest of the world... because there's still 3/4 of the world left to hook up to the Net. He wishes more people were paving more dirt roads, and building more on-ramps to the Information Superhighway... rather than building toll-booths and speedbumps.
